Who We Are
Since 2013, the Wheel & Whisk Roadside Cafe has been bringing home-cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner to the streets out of our custom-built food truck. Our goal is to make great food using great product, to serve a wide range of customers and events throughout the state, and to invoke the simple Colorado lifestyle through our beautiful truck!
Behind the Wheel & Whisk
Originally from New Jersey, owner Tom Warnke moved to Colorado in 1998, and has made Boulder his home ever since. In the summer of 2013, after working in the restaurant industry for 20 years, Tom took his love for food, entrepreneurship, and the great outdoors and built it into The Wheel & Whisk. His goal is to give back to the local community, promote a happy and healthy lifestyle, and help the Boulder food truck scene grow and thrive.
Executive Chef Jaime Martinez has over 15 years experience in the restaurant business, and has worked in some of the best kitchens in Boulder. He brings a high level of talent and passion to this position, and we are excited to show people the quality of food we can produce out of the truck.
In addition to our regularly scheduled street service, The Wheel & Whisk also offers full catering options (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) from private parties and corporate events to block parties, festivals and formal weddings.
